I LOVED this. You got their voices exactly right, and the whole story is just so... quiet and contemplative, and yet it moves fairly quickly. Well done, S.

I'm not a writer or anything, but I think adding explicit sex to WW would be really, really tricky. The tone of the movie is so muted that I think it'd be hard to amp it up like that. With all that said, however, yay porn! Heh. If anyone can pull it off, I'm sure it would be you. :)

Hah, I just saw this movie a few days ago. I didn't think it was well-known enough for fan fic. Very nice story, gets the tone of the movie well. Good job. :)

This is really awesome :) I loved Carol's hospital visit, so perfect, and Duck bringing Dan coffee... and Dan growing just a little. Beautiful.

Thank you! I'm so glad you liked all those little moments - it was the sort of movie that was full of little moments that meant a lot, so I wanted to write something with that sort of feel to it.
