Cotswolds scenes

Dec 07, 2006 21:01

A couple of wallpapers, made with some photos I took last summer in the Cotswolds.

Simple, but worksafe.

Yes, I'm distracting myself from counting down to new SPN!

Hee, I picked the six most popular sizes from the desktop size poll I made a few months ago, so I was hoping I'd have most people covered. I've got a less common desktop size myself (1440x900) so I know what it's like not finding wallpaper in my size.

The Cotswolds are very pretty - rolling countryside, pretty little towns and villages built in honey-coloured stone, pheasants and deer running across the roads! And yes, lots of sheep too, though I don't know if they've all got curly fleeces. I think it's pretty much the typical picture Americans have of cute olde Englande!

Yay, I'm glad it's getting some use - I really just made them for me initially, then I thought someone else might fancy something non-fannish for work, or just for a change.

I went through my folder for winter pictures as I really wanted to make a wintery scene wallpaper, but I don't seem to have taken any decent ones since I got a digital camera, and my scanner isn't connected, so I couldn't scan any of my printed photos. And I've just realised that I still haven't even got any wintery icons uploaded yet - I'm still using summery ones! Hee, I'm just way behind.
