It's all your fault, too! I would never have written penguin fic if you hadn't said sushi! *g*

Note to self: 'sushi' is the magic word for penguin crack-fic.

Some cliches are just irresistable. Especially at midnight when you're too tired to have more sense than to write nonsense like this! *g*

John picked up his pile of clothes and tried not to drip on them too much. "Just make sure you let me know if you feel the urge to walk around balancing an egg on your feet," he shouted as he headed inside for a towel.

Eeee! Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaby penguins!

But somebody did a story already where they had baby ducks or summat and then I wouldn't feel original! *sighs* I was thinking about a BSG/SGA x-over, but there were just too many people involved.

I worry sometimes, when I get an idea that I love, that I'll find someone else has already done it (and better than I could).

I was thinking about a BSG/SGA x-over, but there were just too many people involved.

What if the team met up with a raptor with just a couple of people on it? Or something that only involved some of the characters in some way? Then it wouldn't be so many to deal with. Though I know you're good at handling multiple characters - your KC/BSG crossover was fantastic.

Reactions: 1) Mmmm, sushi: I need some, STAT (but not wacky alien kinds!). 2) I love the second paragraph - it flows so well, and packs so much in in a small space! 3) Penguins! Awesome. And I love that penguin!Rodney smacks John (John needs to get smacked by more animals, I think).

So much fun!

Thank you! I seem to get in a different mindset when I'm writing silly-fic like this, and sometimes the nonsense just rolls out of me, so it's good to know it actually works! *g*

Hee, I think John is going to have words about the smacking later!
