I suppose it depends what you 'ship and who your favourite characters are as to what you like. Elizabeth's been done wonderfully so far this season, IMO, and the 'shippy moments in Misbegotten...

I hated Irresistible. With a passion.

Elizabeth seemed stronger in the first two episodes, and it's been good to see her being used. But, overall, all the episodes have felt weak. And as for Irresistible! I just cringed - if I'd betaed the script, I would have sent it back covered in red ink! Sending Carson to the planet on his own?!! Gah, the whole thing was just stupid.

Hopefully it'll pick up though. I actually tried to write a coda to Irresistible, but I couldn't seem to get into it, unfortunately.

The episodes themselves-- yes, I agree. No Man's Land wasn't bad, but the other two, WTF?

Irresistible made me ill. Literally. I threw up and ended up with migraine for the rest of the day. To see TPTB treating what amounted to rape so lightly... it gave me horrible flashbacks. *shudder*

No Man's Land had a lot of Michael in it, which alone made me happy. It just wasn't quite the season opener I was hoping for, though it was definitely the best episode so far.

But yes, Irresistible just glossed over too much that shouldn't have been glossed over. Apart from just being horrible!

Isn't it WONDERFUL? My mum had me doing slave labour in the garden in the afternoon when I was tragically deterred by some rather impressive showers. *glees*

I got it last night, but couldn't get back online to reply until this evening - I managed to get online just long enough to send a beta back, and then that was it. Internet dead to me. So now I'm all backlogged! Again. *sighs*

I'm sleeping UNDER my quilt! It feels like going to bed properly - I don't like sleeping with nothing on top of me, but I had to when it was so hot.

Exactly! I mean, I've never thought of it as an amazingly written series - it's just fun SciFi in the main, but when it gets as dumb as much of this season has been... Gah.
