The Colouring Game

Mar 07, 2006 13:25

Many moons ago we had the Cropping Game. So I thought it might be fun to play again, but colouring icons this time.

Behind the cut-tag you'll find twelve bases: the challenge is to colour them. That's all, just colouring, nothing else. I've given you some easy options, and some harder ones, so you can either pick by fandom, or by how much of a challenge you want.

So that dialup users can play as well, I'm going to limit everyone to a maximum of six icons. You can colour one base six different ways, or pick six different icons, or whatever, but please don't leave more than six here, or the page will never load by the time a few people have played! If you'd like to have a go at more than six, please post them in your own journal (behind a cut-tag, so other people playing won't see them before they do their own), and leave a link in the comments. If you want to give your method or thinking behind the colouring, that'd be interesting, but you don't have to.

I'm screening all comments, so when you've coloured your bases, leave them in a comment here, and I'll unscreen them all tomorrow (Wednesday) evening (my time - say 9 pm GMT).

It's not a competition - there are no awards or voting or prizes. Just the interest of seeing how different people will colour the same image.

In case any of you can't work out all the fandoms, they're House, Angel, Brokeback Mountain, Harry Potter, The O.C., The West Wing, Battlestar Galactica, Supernatural, Smallville, The Constant Gardener, Stargate Atlantis and Grey's Anatomy. All caps by me.

ETA: As a couple of people have asked, yes, altering colouring does include altering brightness, saturation and the like, should you wish.

ETA 2: Game over - thanks for playing!!
