Seriously, I get that it's this language-like thing but it just -- dude, half of it is just nonsensical babble and the other half just confuses me endlessly with weird links back to reality, springing at you from *nowhere*!!!

See, it's the way you can use maths in real life that is one of the things that fascinates me most about it. And just the way, once you understand what you're doing, everything falls into place and fits perfectly.

You'll be glad to know that I just resisted writing you a long essay on the structure of mathematics! *g*
