OMG LOVE.

This is simply brilliant and sweet and hilarious and I just think you should devote all your time to writing GO fic, I really do. *hearts*

And I'm especially fond of footnote #4. *g*

Awww, you darling! You're so encouraging, especially as it's always a bit nerve-wracking attempting to write in a new fandom. But they are such wonderfully fun characters to play with.

As for footnote 4, well, those really are universal gripes!

Love love love! *melts* It's so soft and gentle, both their love for each other, and the metaphor of that love through the rain. I hope you write more GO fic -- this is splendid.

Thank you so much! *hugs you*

I'm glad their love came through - I didn't want to write it explicitly, but I had it in mind as I wrote it, the way they know each other so well, and are so comfortable with each other.

And I definitely want to write more GO fic. I just have to finish the rest of my wip_it_good stories first!

This was wonderful, Signe. It had the perfect tone -- funny, and sweet, and just a touch serious -- and the ending was delightful! It had a lot of lines that made me laugh or snort out loud, but my favourites were:

Aziraphale had come extremely close to questioning the wisdom of God after a few years of no grapes, and hence, no wine.

Hee!

They'd had another favourite bench, in Green Park, but the squirrels in that particular park disliked Crowley and tended to throw nuts at him.

*snerk*

He did, however, have a quarrel with the ends of sellotape that always vanished just when you needed them...

*sniggers* That appeals to me most of all, just because it's such a mundane, everyday thing to annoy Crowley (and I can perfectly understand why it annoys him).

*beams* I'm so pleased it made you laugh.

Thank you! I loved writing that mixture of tone - the two of them lend themselves so well to it.

It's possible that I may have passed on a couple of my niggles to Crowley, like the sellotape and tourists (they're everywhere at the moment!) *g*

Thanks!

As for the squirrels, that happened to me once, years ago. I don't know why, because I always feed squirrels - I think it was just a particularly mischievous one!

beautiful. Could be taken either as mild slash or as friendship, depending on one's perspective/likes/dislikes, and that's really refreshing. Well-written, poignant, true to form, and without OOC behavior to confuse the reader. Amazing story. And Crowley partying so loud he didn't hear the flood? Priceless. And such a Crowley thing to do!

Thank you! I'm particularly thrilled that you thought it was in character: it's always one of the hardest things about attempting to write in a new fandom.

Could be taken either as mild slash or as friendship, depending on one's perspective/likes/dislikes, and that's really refreshing.

I had in mind that they're a couple, but I didn't really want to make a point of that, just let it be there for those who wanted to see it.

And Crowley partying so loud he didn't hear the flood? Priceless.

He's still a bit embarrassed about that!
