Gradients & Poppyfields

I've made a lot of skin-toned gradients recently, ones to help create natural looking colours. As I've found them so useful, I thought I'd share them. They're for use in Photoshop 7 or above.

A tip from sawcat - PSP users can import the gradients by opening the gradient editor, hitting the edit button, and the import button. There's a more detailed ( Read more... )

I downloaded the gradients. Thanks!

And it's too bad about the petition. But hopefully it won't be too long before we can buy more icons.

Do hope you find the gradients useful - I find they work well to brighten up skin tones.

As for the petition, I wouldn't mind so much if they'd just do us the courtesy of replying - but no one has even acknowledged my emails! That's just plain rude, in my book, especially when they can see how many people are behind the idea.

I've had fun experimenting with gradients lately, so I'm curious. Why would you specifically make a bunch of gradients, when you can use the gradient tool for each picture?

Is it much more practical?

You do realise that you use these with the gradient tool? You unzip the file, install it in your gradients folder, then you can load them to give you lots of ready made options. (You can laugh at me if I'm telling you something you already know!)

Personally, I find them invaluable - most of my icons have several layers of gradients, so premade ones (that I can then use on various settings) are extremely handy, and a good time-saver. So yes, pre-made gradients get the big thumbs-up from me!
