My new art and resources site is now open. Many thanks to crumblingwalls and catmoran for helping me with the coding, and angryhamster for betaing it.

That's probably the first time I've ever been called benevolent!

And thanks for the kind words about the site. It's fairly simple in comparison with proper art sites, but it'll be easy to change as I progress, and I like the nice easy navigation.

You're welcome - sharing is fun!

And thanks for the credit - if it would be possible to credit me by a link to the site, rather than my journal, that would be cool, but it's not really important.

Well..i spent the last half hour browsing the site....first squee moment.. Boyd and Exposed links!! squeeeeee... well no..actually boyd!! was the first. Kat will be freaked.

I love the header. Although as next step..you could do the link graphically..like..the header with an imagemap. mmmmm... *giggles*

I love the site really. Im totally amaze at the progress you made lookign at the art from way back and I loooove your icons. there's this almost kiss manip that is so totally gorgeous!!

The only thing that bothered my though was the frame... i think you should use css on the scrollbar..that would look more wholesome.

and that one cap of lex....uhaahhhh...guh..love the veronica banner too.... not to mention the wallpaper from last night. on the fifth!!! new ep!!!!!!!!!!! am being overbearing???

oh and btw--- what is the difference between this site and the one with the buffy actress on top? Just or when I want to link you.

Hee, glad you were pleased to see your links. I'll rotate around to SVart soon as well.

I did think of using an image map on the header, but I wanted something I could change easily, add new pages, and so on, so I went with simple navigation down the side.

It's actually quite amazing to look back at the wallpapers I made for Christmas presents last year... Not very good! Still a lot of learning to do, but it's nice to see that I'm improving ( ... )

Oh..I understand why you chose no image map..now that you mention it.

not improving but improving greatly :)

and you linked o-art.css not o-art2.css
maybe that's it?

and maybe that's the site yeah...I loved the header. and I saw right away which texture you used...but not a bad thing.

can#t wait to try out the gradients.

That was only for the test page - I didn't want to play around with the proper page, so I put up a test page and a new .css for that, just for you to see. That was the one that ended in index3.htm. But I couldn't see any difference between the two, despite adding the code. Anyway, I'm not going to worry too much over that - I'd like to get Grooves as Spirals (my fic site) sorted first, then I can fiddle with tiny things.
