Wanna see my finger?

Every time I look at it, I am reminded of Dave, the comic book artist who used to run Pokemon card games at Wizards (when I was working there seven years ago).  Whenever something was really awful, whether it was a game he couldn't win or an injury or an illness, he said it was "brutal."  I can still hear the way he said it, and ( Read more... )

And your finger is like a train wreck. I just keep looking at it and looking at it. It actually looks like part of it is lopped of. I'm actually sort of jealous - now why the heck is that?!?!

Not sure why you're jealous, but part of it was lopped off -- our friend was on his way to our house when it happened, and he found the tip of my finger still attached to the board that sliced it off. Mike passed out when Bill called and asked if the hospital wanted him to bring it in.

LOL, I would think it was if it happened to someone else. And it *is* kind of incredible that you can slice off a chunk of finger, bandage it up, and expect it to heal itself. No stitches, no nothing.
