It's a very sad day as one of my very first celebrity crushes has passed away. He was so very young, only 47 years old. The irony that he played the Angel of Death on Touched by an Angel is lost on no one..

Goodbye John Dye. Your soft voice, quiet presence and comforting persona will be missed.

I knew who he was. "Touched By an Angel" was one of my grandma's favorite shows. I still remember when he, Roma and Della were on "Oprah" together. It's very sad indeed that he passed so young. :(
