Rats that live in sewers have healthier immune systems than those living in antiseptic labs

Ha! My displeasure with our germphobic society and the proliferation of antibactierial everything is vindicated.

I didn't know you were one of us. I have been screaming for years that all those antibacterial items were doing was raising healthier bacteria. When we want to be super-safe we wear latex gloves - like during the last serious flu season. And we carry a small bottle of alcohol based hand cleaner for use after visiting hospitals and such. Have you noticed how nearly impossible it is to get liquid soap without all that antibacterial crap in it? Ugh!!

I have, indeed, noticed. And it's even more difficult for me because T buys into the whole thing. *rolls eyes* He's so sensible and scientific-minded in other ways, I don't know why he doesn't get this one.

Did you ever notice how cats, who lick their butts, NEVER get colds??

Also means the 10 second rule can get knocked back by a few minutes. Not that it ever bothered me much.

I did not notice, but you're absolutely correct. I should point that out to T as well. ;)
