*hug*

Hoping for the best for you.

Have I pointed you at shades_of_nyx about this topic yet? Ping her and ask to be added to her filters -- she's in a position to be aware of cutting-edge developments for fibro, and has gotten some marvelous results with some radical therapies. (In particular, Valtrex has worked a miracle for her, pointing to a viral component in her condition. Maybe that's not your solution, but maybe something else is.)

Thanks! I do know the cutting edge position of shades_of_nyx. We have talked briefly on occasion. I myst be in better contact with her, as well as with the rest of my support group. Doesn't help that I take 6 months off from contact!

Miss you and hugs!

My dearest missd Sister!

What you have to give is your support, and that you have given in droves!

I love and miss you and your family! But I also know you are where you need to be, and so am I.

Hugs and much love

Again, just knowing that I have support out there is a big help. Now if I could just learn how to ask for the help...

Have you checked with the Y? the YMCA twin cities has financial assistance programs. I think you have to get an application there and fill it out, but I do know that they are willing to work with people on these things.

If or when you can afford to go--Skip the Y and go to Courage Center or Sister Kenny. They both have therapeutic pools which will not only make movement easier--but they are also a balmy warm temperature which is SO MUCH BETTER on aching body parts!!
