It is not a martini unless it has gin and vermouth. It is something else served in a martini glass. But it is not a martini, and anyone who perpetrates this sad misconception so is committing a crime against the ambrosia that is the martini.

(the rest sounds yummy, though, alhtough probably not too tasty with actual martinis)

My chocolate cocktail was just splendid, but not remotely a martini. I can't see why they were called martinis really.
