Fandom Musings: Discworld, Vimes, Vetinari.
Been re-reading my favorite books in Terry Pratchett's Discworld series recently - namely, the books dedicated to the City Watch of Ankh-Morpork, pearl among cities. I've never - really taken a look at the fandom that's sprang up around them; I checked out the applicable sections on AO3 and FF.net, and was interested by what I found.

I have absolutely *no* idea what is going on with Bleach right now.
All I know is that if they manage to kill Old Man Zangetsu, or otherwise render his every contribution to the plot meaningless, I will *hurt* something. -
On Appropriate Medication
Successfully managed to quell several irate aches and pains by eating chocolate after painkillers utterly failed me.
I'm sure there's some grand metaphor here about the human condition, but frankly, I don't really feel like examining it in depth at the moment. -
Surprise
*blinks*. I feel good.
I got ten hours of sleep last night, and I feel *good*. No lingering irritation in the back of my head. No urge to roll over and go right back to sleep. I woke up feeling refreshed and revitalized instead of cranky and irritated.
...I'd forgotten I could feel like this.
