To my shame, this is only the second time, in a long history of reading online works, that I have felt compelled to leave a note of gratitude for an author. Ungrateful? - no; a little shy? - maybe. Not an acceptable excuse, I know.
I have read all of your stories here. Being emotionally moved by each one is like being touched by and gifted with a strangers kindness. So I would like to say thank you to you, a stranger to me, for your words, that I feel certain can only come from the very kindest of hearts. For sharing these very beautiful stories, thank you.
I’m honored to be your second. ;) You’re very kind and lovely for a perfect stranger, which is good, because that happens to be the way I like my perfect strangers.
Okay, but all teasing aside, I do hope you’ll write again, because this comment was really wonderful to receive. I’m a little shy too, and it warms my heart that you shared this with me - so much so that you’re getting the next part soon. Thank you for your comment :)
Owlish, Please forgive me for this embarrassingly late comment. I went on vacation, came back but have yet to actually 'come back'. Before I start with the complimenting... Did you have those business cards printed? If so, could you send me one? ;) I love how this story is unfolding. The banter between Jenny and Emma is so spot on. The way Emma shows she's there for Jenny through subtle gestures but still gives her space is so perfect. And this - “I’m falling in love with you,” “Still?!” “Always,” - that is pure heart fluttery. You're doing a beautiful job, as always. Thank you again for another amazing story. Looking forward to the next part. -AB P.S. Happy new year! Hope you enjoyed the holidays.
I agree, I have a feeling these two will go on many wonderful adventures together, on and off the page. This story was supposed to be shorter, but it kept growing each time I sat down to finish it, as adventures often do.
Thanks for the kindness, I hope you enjoy the next part.

I’ll tell you, AB, I’m not sure what I’m doing wasting my time doing anything else, with that kind of business card lying around. ;)
I hope your holidays were also pleasant. Thank you for the kind words. :)
