I miss you so
I miss your smile, your laughter, your kindness.
I would give anything to hear one of your surly retorts.
You were my best friend, my soul mate and my confidant.
I know its not your fault you had to leave.
I feel empty inside,
So lonely it hurts.
Camelot’s just not the same without you
You were always there to catch me when I stumbled
To wipe my tears when I could no longer be strong
You cheered me when I was down
You calmed me when I was angry.
What do I do without you now?
I hold on to the red neckerchief you left behind,
It still bears your scent
And brings me closer to you when I need you most
I cannot show my sorrow by day
But at night when I am alone in my chambers, I sometimes soak my pillow.
The only thing that keeps me going is the thought that one day when I am king,
