I've always loved Batman. He's easily the best superhero ever, IMHO. So I relished Batman and Batman Returns when James and I got around to watching them, and devoured Batman Begins multiple times. And I bantered about buying some comic books

You don't really like Batman Forever and Batman and Robin, do you? Those two are the two worst superhero movies I've ever seen. Even worse than that Captain America flick from the seventies. Did you ever see that one? He spent most of the movie NOT wearing his costume; it was like watching a mediocre James Bond movie where he uses a giant frisbee instead of a PPK.

Scaramanga, the villain from the man with the golden gun, was played by Christopher Lee. Picture a spandex-wearing Sean Connery duking it out with Saruman. It doesn't get much worse than that.

I've never seen Batman Forever, so I can't comment on that, but as for Batman and Robin...yeah, I know it's bad. *sigh* But you can't win 'em all, and Batman Begins makes up for them.
