Fact: Cielo is weak to mental ailments. In my gameplay, he most frequently falls victim to Charm. Although he once dropped 12000 dollars when he was confused, so I'm a bit bitter over that too! Charm is the ailment that causes the charater inflicted with it to start attacking his party and healing his enemies. Which sucks when you're trying to ( Read more... )

Nocturne has the really awesome MP restore skill too: It's got a different name, Mana Refill. Also the Magic Drain skill is super awesome too as it's boosted by Makakaja (I've drained over 200 MP in one go with it).

ALSO, I would just like to say that before I read this I was considering asking you if you wanted the dubious honor of having Cielo be Junpei's very first mistletoe because Cielo's "eh who cares, ja?" would be a very wonderful contrast to Junpei's complete and total freak out. BUT NOW I'M SCARED.

EDIT FOR YOUR EDIT: I'm 95% sure that Empress' Libido was namechanged to Death Lust in US Nocturne. It's a skill one of the Fiends (Mother Harlot, fittingly enough) has.

Actually my Demifiend has Mana Refill, it's just that I haven't gotten anyone else to get any decent ones, leaving him as my only healer because I fail at not spamming -kaja and -kunda spells at the start of a boss battle until they're mostly drained of magic orz. I'm definitely going to get the Magic Drain skill now though, because that sounds awesome for boss fights.

XDDD THAT WOULD BE BEAUTIFUL. I'm picturing it as: Cielo molests Junpei under the mistletoe. "Sorry bro! I told you dat I was weak to ailments, ja? You okay dere mon?" "AUGH NO WHAT I MEAN WHAT WHY WHAT DID I JUST TASTE" "Uh well, I do eat de zombies so probably dem!" "....my soouuuulll"

That makes sense! Empress' Libido was an awesome name though.

Sarasvati starts with Mana Refill (and Kikuri Hime learns it through level up--but Sarasvati also learns Mazanma and Force Boost which is always nice to pass along), if you wanted to fuse her and then whore her out. Also, if you've beaten him and gotten a Deathstone from one of the Kalpas in the Amala Labyrinth, Daisoujou has a skill specific to him that'll drain about 80 HP and MP from a target (also able to be boosted by Makakaja); he also has Prayer which is NOT specific to him and heals all HP and status ailments for all party members (in battle only) for 50 MP.

I WILL BE USING THIS ICON A LOT, if that ever happens. XDDD

...I think I sacrificed my Sarasvati in a moment of boredom without noticing that. Thank you though! I actually think I have a Daisoujou (unless I got bored and fused him because I never rememeber to put my mages in my party orz) so this is going to be pretty useful~♥

I approve of trauma icons in cases like that! XDDD

I'm only becoming more bothered by my Thanatos's refusal to not learn Sexy Dance last time through.

Well, it's not like Charm's horribly USEFUL. I mean, the only enemies I ever used it on in DDS were the Girimekhalas and I...okay I probably WOULD slash Cielo/giant blue elephant so I probably shouldn't continue talking huh.

Maybe you can get it next time though! I kind of think the animation for casting that should involve wiggling around a pole.

Nah nah, I mean the dang embodiment of death did get Sexy Dance when I fused 'im. I couldn't convince him otherwise. Spoilers's spirit lives on.

For the record, there's one boss (comprised of three enemies) in P3 that's ridiculously susceptible to Charm, making it very, very easy. And now very kinky. I'm not sure I've ever deliberately used it elsewhere, though it's nice to have as a side effect on weapons. When enemies use it, on the other hand...

YES I WOULD'VE KILLED HIM. The nice thing about Nocturne is that when someone gets charmed and does something really annoying is that I then sacrifice them in my next round of fusions! :D (also this is why I equip him with Null Ailment for that battle.)
