Stress, Frustration, and Margaret Cho: My Unthrocon Experience

Unthrocon is done! Okay, it was actually done on 9/1, but I'm just now getting around to posting about it. (I've been enjoying my time off, so sue me!) All I have to say about actually running a convention is...holy crap, that was a lot of work. I knew it was going to be a lot of work, I just wasn't prepared for how much work I would be doing.

Kudos for running a con! Your experience is one reason why I have never wanted to kick my little gatherings up to the next level. I'm not a good team player and more of a control freak. I think I would explode.

Seriously. There were so many points where I just wanted to say "I'm done." But, I made a commitment and I wanted to see it through. At the end of it all, I can at least tell myself that I helped bring something like this to Utah.

Also, no one likes an exploded bear. They are very messy to clean up...
