I agree with seleneharker 100%. If this is only a deleted scene, the real deal must be completely interesting. It's short, but it was enough to tell that your sense of description is really good, I could completely imagine the scene. Isshin is fantastic. Keep it up!

(am just now reading everything in the IRAF . . . from the beginning . . . will comment b/c you worked hard and reference the South Park movie in your LJ - I illegally downloaded it yesterday ^^)

Very good so far . . . I personally love Isshin as a character, he cracks me up! I bet he's fun to write b/c he can either be batshit insane or surprisingly tender and insightful. I also love that he smokes only once a year at his wife's grave. Very Bogart, if Bogart actually tried to quit smoking.

Keep it up! I don't mind family filler, anyway, so err on the side of keeping possible deleted scenes if it comes up!

God I love writing Isshin. He doesn't get much screne time in the IRAF though, because I keep taking him out because he doesn't fit. :(
