I was going to do this eventually, because while I'm an incredibly unorganized person physically, I like to keep mental things neat. And you know, book list. That's always something good to reference to. All of the books that I'm reccing here have reduced me into a pile of incoherent babble at some point. There are things ranging from picture books

*Number The Stars I think what got me obsessed with the Holocaust I think I read it in 3rd (4th?) grade. It was so great
*Farenheit 451... I didn't like that much, my mom forever teased me after reading that because I watched alot of tv and she would ask me was it my family and what not. =__=
You should read To Sir With Love by E.R. Braithwaite. I love it so much.
Thanks for the list, I have some ideas of what to check out when I pay my fine...

You didn't like F451? ;-; But... but it's so beautiful.
"What did you give to the people, Montag?"
"Ashes."

No, I just couldn't stand it and I never got over the fact that they were burning books. =_=;; The only redeeming factor was at the of the book they had what Bradbury wrote later about Beatty keeping all these books.

The book burning and the "family" broke my heart. And when Montag read Dover Beach and the lady starts crying I was a TEARFUL MESS. And and and the ESSPLOSION. ;-; With Montag thinking "I remember" over and over again when the building are falling and him thinking "RUN RUN MILLIE RUN!" and when Mildred's "family" shuts off and all she can see in the dark screen is her empty face before the walls start crashing in and dksjfa;slkgj;lkdf homg.
Okay yeah. That was my spaz attack. >D And the part he wrote later was amazing too. Like when he said "THESE BOOKS DIE ON THE SHELVES" and I was like... *sob*.
Er. Yes. :D! Have you read The Long Rain? It's in the Golden Apples.
