when i started reading this, i had thought that the word count said "934" instead of "9340" and i was like "WOW, IT NEVER ENDS :D"

I totally adore this story. Sam seems like such a sweet boy from what little we've seen of him, and this captures that aspect of him perfectly. And the subtext with what he said to Finn in the locker room about being three touchdowns behind? Perfect backstory. You're brilliant.

On top of that, Puck? So perfect. I mean, I adore him, he's my fave, and you just get him so well here. I love the distinction too--he doesn't dislike Kurt because Kurt's gay, he dislikes Kurt because Kurt's a bitch. Sam's cool, so Puck digs him. And since I totally ship this pairing, the undertones are there too, and the possibilities of Puck 'being gay for Sam' are very tangible.

Plus, how could you not fall for Puck, even if he is a player? He's so adorable. I'd love you to continue this story if you were so inclined.

I'm glad you thought everyone was in character, I was very worried that I wasn't getting Puck down right. :) I do think I'll continue this, the Puck/Sam relationship is too fun to write and I think there's a lot more that could happen between them still. I think Puck has a few sides--as do so many teenage boys--and you get them all here with the syrup chugging business, and then the kicking those douches' asses business, and then then dude, you're my friend, speech--and after what we saw last week with Puck praying for Kurt's dad, and everything with Quinn, we know he's not Pucksaurus all the time. *g*

The way you write them is very organic--they would totally be friends, even if they weren't boyfriends, and I really like that aspect of it.

*dances* I'm very excited for follow up fic from you! (I just clicked on your tag for this and saw that you wrote the locker room blowjob fic, which might have been the first P/S fic I read. I was remiss in commenting on it because I was so surprised by the insane love I have for this ship. I normally don't do slash.)

This was so sweet- I like how everyone in the team rallied around Sam- even if they didn't know why... I admit I am curious to how Beiste would have reacted to Sam's injuries...she would be like a fierce mamm bear i think...also Finn walking into a door was a great touch...

Thank you for reading :) I actually was planning to write the scene where Sam tries to tell Beiste he ~walked into a door~ but she totally doesn't buy it and Sam ends up telling her the truth, but it didn't really fit anywhere ._. I'm planning on writing more Sam/Beiste scenes when I continue this though, because she does act like a fierce mama bear toward her little footballers ;)

I hope you manage to get the team on board with Sam- I like fics where the team doesnt mind about things like that... Maybe have the team do something for Kurt when his dad goes to the hospital- like someone records them doing the Single Ladies dance to cheer him up. I could imagine them understanding that...
