Oh, this is sincerely SO gorgeous. And just what I was craving; boys dealing with parents and school and each other and being BOYS about it. Thank you so much for this.

Babes - I'm so sorry - didn't get a chance to read this before I left because of massive amounts to do, and this is the first chance I have had to be online since I got here three days ago - so so sorry! I promise I shall read, albeit late, because right now am on borrowed time...

Much love from snowy Switzerland, though...

xx

I hope that you are having an amazing time! Skiing over beta duties, every time!

I can't wait to hear all about it when you return. You can catch up then.

Hey babes - I finally caught up, and I must say it was a lovely tale - sweet and charming and all coming of age-y and packing more adorkableness than you can shake a stick at. I'm still not entirely convinced of the wisdom of writing bandom, but the beauty of it is that it stands alone very nicely, and you write Spencer as such an appealing, insecure, sweet boy than I couldn't help liking this.

Plus, your writing, as ever, is a joy to read. I'm sorry I couldn't read it earlier, but I really did enjoy it.

This was lovely. I really liked the gentle rollercoaster of feelings that Spencer went through here, and the hopeful ending.

Jesus, you and Ross, it’s like you were raised by wolves.

LOL, because wolves know nothing of Frank Sinatra? Every time I read this I read it as "raised in a barn" or "lived under a rock." Wishful reading.

Also this: the patented Ryan Ross near-starvation diet made me laugh since it's pretty much 100% canon that Ryan eats more than anyone else in the band, but whatever, I get it, Ryan is his thinspiration, it's cool

This still might be my favorite line in the whole thing: “You’re an idiot, but I love you,” Spencer said then added, after a minute, “Man. There, that makes it macho, right? I love you, man.”Spencer is still really zen about the gay here, but I'm letting it go. I *wish* it was this easy for boys. I love that it is in this story ( ... )

I think Brendon would truly believe only animals wouldn't know who Frank Sinatra was. :)

I was thinking more than Ryan had *put* Spencer on the diet than Ryan was following the diet, but you know that RyRo was totally BB!Spencer's thinspiration.

I know the ending was, er, slightly less than realistic, but it was prom night -- that magical night when . . . and now I'll stop. :)

Seriously, thank you so, so much for your help and encouragement. I so appreciated it. Even the high expectations.
