The picture at the top of this post expresses my feelings on the whole Spencer Situation. It is to weep.

LOL, that pic w/that caption is AMAZING. They are totally 70s porn directors, it's true. Perhaps this is an aesthetic CHOICE Spencer is making - a preview, if you will, of the epic 3rd Panic album, which will be inspired by the funk grooves of the 70s that you often hear underlying bad porn.

Or, um. Not.

Hee. That is the best PSA EVAH. I love that so much.

I am truly disturbed by his latest "look." I worry that it's a porn 'stache of depression and ennui. He doesn't look happy -- just stoned all the time.

Don't be sad, Spencer Smith. Life is still good, and your gf is still hot.

Hmmh, there are several answers to this question. The first actualfax record album that I bought for myself was a copy of Rubber Soul (in mono!) from Plastic Fantastic when I was about seven. My dad and I used to go out "gypsying" on Friday nights, and on one of our excursions, he decided to introduce me to the wonders of the Beatles and of vinyl all in one go. I used my allowance to buy it.

The first cassette I bought for myself (shut it, I know I'm old) was Shaun Cassidy's Under Wraps. I loooooved him on The Hardy Boys. I even had his face on a nightgown. *is ashamed*. I was probably around the same age.

And finally, the first album I ever bought because I liked the music was a Hall and Oates album. I was a weird kid. But I loved it, and I loved Private Eyes. I was in the fourth grade.

Did they tell her? Did they just leave her out there, with this ticking time bomb in her belly?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the boys didn't know she was pregnant, did they? Travis knew, but Jack only said Travis tried to kill her, he never told Dean and Sam why.

Though the reason Travis wanted her dead ought to be obvious...well, they're guys. And neither of them has ever had a normal family life. I'm betting it wouldn't occur to either of them.

I thought they'd figured it out, but maybe I'm wrong. I also thought it was a little nutty that Travis didn't just tell the wife and, you know, let her get an abortion. Torching her seemed a wee bit extreme to me.

Sometimes, I'm able to roll with their weird women's issues, and sometimes, they bring me up short.

OH WILLIE WONKA RYRO, I WOULD STILL TOTALLY DO YOU.

I mean...whut?

Question: What do you think is the true reason you never tried cigarettes? This perplexes me more than you never having tried MJ, tbh.

Heh. I hated that my mom smoked when I was a kid, and I was a huge pain in the ass about it -- I used to bug her all the time, and hide her cigarttes and stuff. And I hated the smell, like, a lot.

Plus, my grandmother died of congestive heart failure when I was in the eighth grade, in part because she couldn't give up her covert Vantages. I think that happening right around the time that I would have probably tried it, combined with the fact that I didn't want to be a huge hypocrite after bitching for so long, were what stopped me originally. Plus, no one I hung out with smoked. Then, in college, when everyone I knew smoked, I was an athlete, and couldn't be bothered. So I missed both windows of opportunity, as it were.

Plus, as you know, I have fire issues, so lighting matches was a problem. :)

Mmm, that makes a lot of sense! I retract any comments I've made making fun of you for being a dork, then. Those are all excellent reasons not to smoke.

Thank you sweetie! Yes, we debauched and OD'd on DVDs. (I think the key to the success was that we drank steadily instead of binging. No hangovers but maintained that lovely, constant buzz.)

"rehymenated"....I shook my head the first time he said it, as if I didn't hear correctly. Then I just about busted a gut the next time.
