Holy fuck, this is awful. I remember Starblade from many years back (including the LJDebate lolincident that spurred the phrase "fuck you I'm a dragon"). He always seemed a bit unstable, but not a bad person. I hope whomever did this to him pays for their crime.

Wow, that's horrible. I'd only heard of the guy in passing, and not always in the best light, but that's... yeah, wow. I wonder what exactly happened. How sad. I hope he's moved on to a happier place :/
