In his cell not far from the door, Tyki heard the clicking of heels coming toward the basement. Daisya had left him not that long ago, and so to suddenly have another visitor was unusual. Or, rather, he would have considered it unusual had it not been for the fact that he was currently stuck trying to remember where he'd heard Daisya screaming horrific, agonized pain
( ... )
Maria raised an eyebrow at the unfamiliar voice, glancing over toward the stranger's cell. She hadn't quite realized there were even people in here -- despite the presence of the guards out front, the Order actually holding prisoners at Headquarters for any great length of time was a rare occurrence.
"...A little confused," she offered, tossing dark hair out of her face as she walked a step or two closer, eyeing the young-looking man closely. Whoever he was, it was a shame the guy had gotten himself locked up here; he would've been a keeper.
"Dunno about you, but I'm having a topsy-turvy kinda day, Mr....?"
"Tyki," he said, deigning to give his last name again. It wasn't really necessary. Probably. "You and me both. I think it's a bad morning for everyone."
Yes ... something was definitely up. The intercom had been full of confusion, yelling, startled meetings and awkwardly familiar introductions. Tyki had kept out of them for now, unsure of his own position (here in the prison) or if someone would remember him before he remembered them. It just wouldn't do to have someone to recalled an action of his charging down here to kill him when he wasn't even sure of his own guilt. Or innocence.

Probably guilt, though.
