I'd say get an IBM thinkpad they're super legit, BUT you are into graphics and design and all that jazz so maybe a mac :[

All things equal though I'd say a pc.

If you're comfortable with a PC, stick with a PC. I don't even know anymore. The Mac OS is pretty simple to use, and I'm pretty used to it now, but their hardware is absolute shit. My laptop screen is illegible now. I can't see anything on it.

Personally, I'm waiting for Mac to make a tablet notebook.
