Also had a cold sore last week, I can sympathise. ^_^ My druid friend Diane says cold sores happen when one is angry with someone. When I thought about it, I realised I was (am) indeed angry with someone. But hey, I always just thought it is a virus that strikes when my resistance is low...

I'd always heard, and beleive, it's about stress. The virus is always there, stress weakens the immune system and that's when the virus can surface again.

As someone who has been trying like hell to get a job, who also knows professional people who do not have one now (physicist, engineer, chemist), don't be too hard on her for not being able to find one right away.
