Last night was, uh, interesting. Tanya has been fighting lice in Sheniah off and on for months and not much has worked. The doctor recommended drenching Sheniah's hair in mayonaise and then covering it with a swim cap and leave it on for the night. Well, we did it, and Sheniah was NOT happy about it but cooperated just fine. And after thorough ( Read more... )

It looks so good now, what colors are you getting in it? And you could have taken a pic of all of you too....some of us want to see more of you.

Getting the cross colored in like a stained glass window color pattern, that's all for now.

And I've been posting pics of me! That's just the only ones of my tatts.

Just a few thoughts come to mind about Sheniah's lice. First, I dont know if mayo or olive oil help kill the lice, but nothing will work if you dont wash all the pillows and bedding as well. Also make sure her hairbrush is not contaminated. I know the dr has probably gone over all of those things with you, but just in case. Also, start keeping her hair up when she is around other kids. No sharing brushes, no wearing other kids hats, and laying down on other kids blankets and such. The mayo and olive oil wont hurt her hair either, they are great moisture treatments.

Also, I don't remember the tatoo's... when did you get them? I know you had one at least, but i definitely dont remember the cross.

We had a problem with lice like that years ago. The doc even gave us prescription stuff and it didn't work. In the end what worked was treating them every weekend for several months.
