[ In 948 Beulah Street, there is a new, non-drone dad in charge. This dad is, like many new arrivals, vastly unhappy. This is for multiple reasons, starting with being in Mayfield in the first place. The second reason would be that he has stupid 50 clothes, and had to dig for jeans and a regular damn t-shirt. He'll have to upgrade the wardrobe

[ he sounds relieved! BUT THEN REALIZES OH CRAP NOW THEY'RE BOTH HERE? he would never wish this on dean. :| but.... it's nice to not be alone. ]
Dean, where are you?
[ wait haven't they had this conversation before... ]
Reply
[ watches Dean salt the place, yo. ]
They seem determined to make the comparison, no matter what I say.

[ SALTSALTSALT. He'll find paint to do devil traps later. ]
How long have you been here?
[ SUDDENLY SOUNDING SERIOUS, glancing up from the floor and frowning up at Cas. ]
Reply
[ WHICH IS TWO TOO MANY. ]

Shit... You make me worry enough about you when you're an angel, but at least you're not here by yourself now.
[ Simple as that, he goes back to salting. ]

There are rules to follow here, Dean. I was told staying under the radar was best, at least for now. It seems whoever runs this place isn't fond of people questioning the system.
[ HE LOOKS AT DEAN POINTEDLY. ]
Reply
... you're giving me that look again, aren't you.
[ NOT... NOT LOOKING UP. But has stopped moving. He can hear the pointed stare. ]
I'm pretty sure I can handle scoping the place out before I make any moves.

You simply tend to react... violently, to bad situations.
[ he pauses, STILL STARING AT YOU DEAN it's what he does ]
I believe there are other angels here. Not my brothers and sisters but angels in their own worlds.
[ PAUSES AGAIN ]
I also met a child who calls herself the Hell Girl, but she isn't a demon. There are people from worlds you've never even begun to imagine, Dean.

Hey, usually I am completely justified.
[ This is a total lie, but whatever he can hope Cas only remembers all the times he was the smart one and Sam was the idiot.
Finally looks up at that, making FACE. ]
Then we just... learn about them, like we always do new shit. I'm not going to go running into anything half-cocked, Cas. I don't even have weapons to back up my stupidass stunts.
Reply
There's simply... a lot to learn. I've never seen anything like this.
[ oh and then he realizes-- ]
There's information in the mailbox.

When we both can say that, I think we're in deep shit.
[ Sets salt aside and peers outside, frowning at nothing in particular. ]
Is it even slightly helpful info?
Reply
Somewhat. It's very speculative.
This place seems to be a meeting ground for people from across dimensions, and worlds. Whatever is bringing people here is powerful; powerful enough to trap beings that shouldn't be trapped.
And, like I said, people liken it to Hell.
[ he frowns. ]
It's troubling.

[ Dean squints out, completely unfazed by the awkward BECAUSE HE IS SO USED TO CAS BY NOW. ]
We're all trapped. I mean, it took you and your angel buddies to get me out of Hell. Now we're both stuck somewhere, and...
[ Pauses, turning away from the window and looking to Cas with an annoyed YET UNCERTAIN look. ]
The handprint is gone.

I was told that upon arrival we are stripped of all abilities and material possessions. Perhaps this extends to past injuries as well.
Reply
[ A bit more annoyed about that, and at least he knows why he's annoyed there. He taps his chest where the ward used to be. ]
So that explains why you don't have your mojo, and I don't have the Impala.

[ JUST KEEPS FROWNING. AND STANDING AROUND AWKWARDLY seriously what do humans do with their hands, his are just hanging by his sides and it's so weird omg cas why are you so awkward. ]
A 'Sanae Hanekoma' said that these things can be regained by playing along with the city.
