Tyra's a girl on a mission. She's wearing the shortest dress that the box would give her, the highest heels and she's looking for Eli. Her heels make a tight click click click on the concrete floor. She doesn't know why she expected Tim to change, why she expected that it'd be any different here because there aren't any actual rally girls here

I wasn't doing anything memorable, just hangin' out watchin' some TV, when I hear heels behind me and I turn to see her. My eyes just about bug outta my head, yeah, but you couldn't show me a straight man who wouldn'a had that reaction, not for a million bucks. "Hey," I manage, dragging my eyes up to her face and trying to play it cool. "Goin' somewhere?"

Tyra sets one hand on her hip and strikes her best rally girl pose, her head tilted on one side.

"Well, I dunno, Eli," she says, and gives him a smile, glancing up at him through her bangs. "You got any suggestions?"

Now on the one hand I'm thinkin' something had to've happened to make her change her tune with me-- she's been playin' the hard-to-get song for so long I was startin' to think it was the only one she knew-- but the next second I tell myself to stop bein' stupid and start bein' smart. So I just give her a smile, good and slow, tilt my chin up and give her the eyebrow. "I could think of a couple," I say, thoughtful and suggestive. "But with you lookin' like that, I think I'm underdressed."

"Underdressed? Y'think?"

In the back of her head, Tyra thought she wasn't ever going to have to be this girl, this slut again, but maybe Tim hurt her that much that thi sis what she's got.

"I reckon we're both a little overdressed, Eli. If you're asking me."
