"Is everyone pregnant around here?" It's a declaration Edna feels needs to be made. Of course, this one looks much younger than the last. She smiles shyly at the girl, dancing on her toes a bit. "Congratulations, hun!"

Ivy, for her part, is sort of tired of the attention. She used to love it. Now she just wants to be invisible.

"Thanks," she replies kind of flatly. "I know I'm absolutely thrilled."

Sorry, Edna. It's nothing personal.

Edna's not used to young girls talking to her like that. Correction she's not used to talking to anyone.

"No need to get flippant, hun." She sinks into the seat next to her. "So it wasn't exactly planned then?"

Ivy raises an eyebrow at the large strange woman. "Uh, no. I'm seventeen and unmarried and I got pregnant on purpose."

The dripping sarcasm, it drowns us.

Depending on how much Ivy watches films, the blonde man hunched over a script might be familiar.

If she isn't, though, he's making enough grumbling noises to raise the dead.

Ivy wouldn't recognize his face. His name, yeah, but not his face. She's not really... well, they don't see many movies during the school year, and summers (in the past) were about boys. Now he just doesn't go out.

She tries ignoring him for a while, and when that doesn't work she snaps, "Hey, y'know, it's kinda hard to read when you're being so fucking loud."

Mark looks up and raises an eyebrow. "Shit. Sorry. I didn't realize I was that loud." Turning slightly red, he looks back at the papers. "Um. Yeah. Sorry."

Okay, and Ivy knows she totally overreacted there. So she takes a deep breath and... "It's cool. Sorry, I shouldn't have snapped. Bad day. Week. Whatever."
