Buffy, post post-fumigation party...

Out of Inn: Buffy doesn't have to kill Angel after all, and Buffy and Xander still have issues that confuse Willow.

Buffy wanders into the Inn, looking faintly distracted, and not in the bad way she has been the last couple days. She's actually smiling a little. It's been a bad few days, but tonight made it somewhat better.

"Wotcher! Think you could lend a girl a hand?"

Look, it's a pink-haired girl. Um... sort of floating upside down by her ankle.

She's trying to reach the long wooden stake-like thing on the floor just under her hand. It's not working so well.

Buffy tilts her head to one side, studying the upside-down girl with mixed fascination and confusion.

"...How'd you do that?"

"My cousin," she says with mock-disdain, the tips of her hair going a bit black, "decided to hex me. I can get down, just hand me my wand, wouldya?"

"Sure thing," Buffy says, still looking baffled. But she leans down to pick up the wand and hand it to the upside-down girl.

JD is trying to decide if it's a good or bad idea to go home right now. Home means a chance to get the trial over with, but home also means more access to alcohol.

Luckily, he sees Buffy so he doesn't have to worry about deciding for now.

"Buffy, hey!" There is waving and a smile, because it's Buffy. "You're looking better!"

"Hey, JD!" Her slight smile broadens to an actual smile, and she waves back. "Umm... thanks."

He laughs lightly at her reaction. "So did everything get worked out then with you and Angel? I mean, I'm guessing that's why you look better. But just... y'know, with the... guessing and stuff."

"I guess. I mean, I didn't have to kill him or anything, and everything's okay now..." And there was kissing. So yes. Much better.
