One lonely writer-boy...

Gordon's downstairs again, curled around a notebook and scribbling very intently in it. No, you don't get to know what he's writing.

Feel free to say hi, though, if you like. He's not feeling particularly talkative, but it might do him some good.

"You're free!" Kaylee bounces over and gives him a big hug. She's been home since she last saw him, which means time has passed somewhat. She's actually showing a tiny bit.

It's very cute.

Gordon looks up, giving her a look of mixed irritation and happiness at seeing her. "Oh, you noticed that? Y'know, considering you're the one who locked me in there."

She sees the happiness. And of course, while it might be happiness to see her, he wouldn't be happy to see her if he hadn't talked to Luther.

"You talked to him! Good. Y'all are okay now? Right?" She looks so hopeful, so thrilled... do you want to disappoint her, Gordon? Do you? She'll totally make the big eyes at you.

Gordon sighs. It's very, very hard to resist Kaylee being all excited like that. It's really not fair.

"Yeah, we talked," he mutters, looking back down at his notebook.

"Gordon?" Juliet has been sitting by the fireplace for quite sometime. Its hard to focus in on him after staring at the flames for so long. She looks up at him, nods when her eyes focus and she sees that it is Gordon, after all.

"Hi."

Gordon looks up, taking a moment to realize that it's Juliet. "Hi," he says, watching her with a faintly suspicious look. Not hostile, just... suspicious. "I don't suppose you have any more insane tasks for me?"

"No." Juliet smiles, shaking her head. "Not today anyway."

She eyes him, mimicking his suspicious expression with a little smirk. "Did you ever finish the last one I gave you?"

"Depends on your definition of finish," he says with a shrug, looking down to his notebook. It's a moment or two before he adds, "I talked to him."
