The door opens to reveal a bustling street full of people wearing robes...and deposits a girl of around 14, arms full of books, onto the carpet. She's wearing jeans and a peasant shirt, and has very frizzy brown hair, as well as buck teeth

"Hermione?" Harry Potter is relaxing for once, content to stay here for as long as he possibly can when he hears the door open and recognizes the girl standing there.

He rushes to her and grins, evidence of how happy a time he's spent here. "Hermione! It's really you, isn't it?"

"Harry!" And the books go flying. This would be an incredibly happy Hermione nearly flattening one of her two best friends. "How are you? You look well for a change!"

[onlypotter]

"I'm good. I'm... I'm really great in fact." Harry's still grinning, hugging Hermione in return. "Hermione, you're going to love it here. You... you won't believe it, but I met my Mum! And... and a younger version of Sirius and Peter... Hermione, this place is amazing!"

[wisandint]

Hermione just blinks at him. "You met. Your mum. Harry, how is that possible? It totally defies every natural law in place! It's not even possible by magic! And younger versions of Sirius and Peter? What is this place?!"

[charminglioness]

"Hello! First time?"

Lily has gotten used to interpreting confused expressions since she found this place.

"We do seem to be getting more and more people from our world in and out of the place."

[wisandint]

"First time...I suppose you could say that... And you mean to say that there are other worlds aside from the uggle and wizarding?"

[wisandint]

(muggle, even!)

"Oh, yes." Lily nods. "There are....well, parallel universes and the like. It's all very Twilight Zone. This place sits sort of outside of and in the middle of all of them, at the same time."
