Kaylee is the one person on the crew he doesn't want to shoot. Well, and maybe River, but when she gets all moonbrained and talking crazy, sometimes he wouldn't mind shooting her too. Assuming he could before she cracked his head open with her boot or one of Wash's little dinosaurs or something.
