It's been a good day. Obi-Wan actually admitted he had done something right, he had gotten a message from Padme, and they'd destroyed an entire Separatist battle group in one fight. He'd personally taken out twenty droid fighters and a fighter carrier. Coming into the Inn was the icing on the cake.

::He was making his way towards the main desk when he nearly walked through another young man, this one quite different than the other:: Excuse me.

::He continued on his way to the front desk and impatiently rang the bell while mumbing to himself.::

Anakin looks at the man with narrowed eyes. He doesn't seem quite like a Tusken Raider, but there are similarities. "Are you from Tatooine?"

::He turned his head and looked over his shoulder at the young man:: I beg your pardon? Am I what?

::His voice trailing off a bit as he turned his head back to look at the bell and rang it two more times before looking back to the young man:: I did apologize for not seeing you in my way. What more do you want?

::He turned his whole self to face the young man properly and without giving any time to answer his question:: Are you going to show me a parlor trick too? ::Said as he nodded towards the young man sitting on the couch near the fire.::

"No." Anakin's voice is cold. "Are you from Tatooine?" he repeats.

Peter, sitting over on the couch, spots Anakin, waves and smiles. "Hi, Anakin! How are you?"

Anakin walks over to him. "I'm good. It's been a good day. How are you?"

[pjpettigrew]

"Pretty good," Peter says. "Just a little tired." It's not just the research. Being up till all hours with a werewolf and two other Animagi can be wearing. "How's your war going?"

"Good, today. Took out an entire battlegroup. And Obi-Wan said I was almost as good as he is at deflecting blaster bolts."
