Crowley got a commendation the other day, and has finally tracked down the news item that brought it on.
Presently, he's at a table, looking from the commendation to the photo and trying to work out what one has to do with the other. He hadn't even heard of the thing before now.

"Don't they know by now that something like that is not your style?" His counterpart joins him at the table, bringing over a bottle of wine that used to be a ten-dollar-bottle but is now a rare French vintage from the mid nineteenth century. "I do not understand them most of the time."

"Don't ask me, angel. This is the first I've heard of the thing."
...Though it does explain why the thought of going to eastern America was making him twitchier than usual, lately.

"Let me see that." Aziraphale takes the newspaper article and scans it. "Oh, I believe I heard something about this. The rumours are saying that Management Himself got rid of it. Graven images and such." He pauses. "And between you and me, it was an awful likeness anyway."

"I'd gladly take a commendation for the people mocking it, but they did that on their own as well." Crowley helps himself to a glass of wine (what are friends for if not sharing their drinks, after all?).
"That far up the chain, really? Makes more sense than anything I'd try, I'll grant you that."
