It's a touch disconcerting, since he's not used to his brother being a dog. But at least he knows who it is. "Dare I ask what happened this time?" After all, Sirius being unhappy could just mean that a prank didn't pan out as planned.
"No, I don't believe I have met her." The first name sound vaguely familiar, though, also courtesy of Sirius if he remembers right. But there hasn't been much room in his head for excess information, lately. Exams will do that.

Or his canine half, who is trotting over to sit at Regulus' feet with a noise which probably means the puppy is unhappy.
Sometimes a boy's emotional state just requires him to be a dog for a while.
