Sometimes, a boy just needs to turn into a dog and take up an entire sofa in hope of bellyrubs.
Or maybe that's just Sirius.

And sometimes, someone will fall for it.
David just came in from a jog, and was planning on sitting down and thinking himself up a large drink. A large dog, however, can take one's attention.
He crouches down beside the couch and rubs the top of Sirius' head. "Hey, how'd you get here?" he smiles slightly.

Puppies are certainly welcome, especially when people are in bad moods. Or simply sad.
Sara happens to be experiencing a great deal of the latter.

Sirius gives her a nuzzle and rests his chin on her knee.
Nobody does sad eyes like a big dog.
