Angel gets the note in fairly short order, and decides to look for Roger before writing a reply. Or listen for him, as the case may be.
Either way, Roger is graced with Angel's presence within a few minutes. "The jam session's not a bad idea, long as we make it clear from the outset that there are no rocks anywhere in the equation."
That might be a test.
