Florence has made one of the harder decisions she's ever had to make.

It was, actually, surprisingly easy to come to, though. You love someone enough, you have to let them go. You don't love them enough, and it's not as hard to let them go as you would've thought.

"I..." she looks down at the page of the photo album in her lap. A bright and laughing five-year-old in a tiara, riding on her daddy's shoulders, watching a parade at Disney World. Something that never was, never will be.

"To be honest... I'm falling apart a bit." She looks up and smiles humorlessly at him. "But that is unavoidable."
