Ben died approximately two months ago (Give or take, depending on if one is referring to Inn time or his own world's time), but he doesn't remember the two months that he's been dead during. He doesn't even remember dying at the moment

Chase has only been back in the Inn for a little while. A day or two maybe. So the bruise he stumbled in with is going to be glaringly purple and red against a well-defined jawline.

He's been trying to catch a nap on one of the many couches the Inn has to offer, but it seems to be failing him quite a bit at the moment.

Especially at the flash of a camera, the sound of a voice.

Chase thinks he might very well be halfway to unconsciousness. But it doesn't stop him from standing, moving, and, well, Ben, you might just get on good Aussie kiss right then and there.

How's that for a 'oh-my-god-you're-back-welcome-back' present?

Chase presses into the heated kiss, chuckling softly as they part. "I was going to say, I could name a few things, but it is high on the list."

Even having his hand back in one of Ben's is a small comfort he hadn't realized he missed.

At Ben's words? He's silent for a good while, thoughtful, before nodding. "You couldn't control it. You've nothin' t'be sorry for."

Ben doesn't respond to that, having a fair idea that if he'd visited a doctor before... maybe he would have lived longer, but he's really glad he didn't.

To tell the truth, he probably would have said no to chemo anyway. Nothing like getting treated for cancer to suck the life out of a guy.

His bedroom door is unlocked, which... is not a surprise. He never locked it. But it is surprising that it's still there and still his after two months. Maybe the Inn always knew he'd back. Or maybe it was his own memorial here. Either way.

Ben pulls Chase inside and kisses him again, pulling away with that tiny little smile that means he's going to say something inappropriate. "Does this mean you're kind of taking my virginity in a way?"

Chase is glad the subject is somewhat dropped and gone. It can be focused on later, when they've all had time to recover from the shock.

Upon seeing the little smile, he waits for the comment, for that one little remark he knew Ben was going to make.

"I s'pose, if you wnt to look at it that way." A roll of the eyes, "But you," Chase presses his forehead to the other male's, "Will never have a clean enough mind for the title of virgin. Sorry to break your heart, love."

Sarcasm and amusment drip from his voice and he kisses Ben again, this time a little softer.

"Well. Can't deny that." Ben says, good naturedly, and is happy to forget all about being a virgin or not when Chase kisses him again and his fingers slip up into that gorgeous blond hair.

Coming back from the dead has plenty of perks, apparently.

Including what will probably be the best sex ever.
