and you may find yourself in another part of the world

The door opens on a rather odd scene: Two humans, a dwarf, a troll, a rather tall skeleton, and a guitar, if a very primitive-looking one, apparently on the edge of a ravine of some sort. It's dusk, but not for much longer, from the looks of it.
It's also... oddly silent. Like some sort of background noise is missing.

Maggie glances up as the door opens, and freezes in place, eyes locked on the skeleton. For a moment,a long moment, she fears he's come to take her again, to drag her back to hell.

But the moment passes, as the door closes. Maggie fumbles with her pentacle, muttering softly to herself, protectively. But something... She can feel something there, just on the edge of her senses.

"Hello?"

"So, singers, and the like?" She was never much of a singer. Played guitar for a while, but, then, who didn't in the sixties?

"I'm not sure I understand you. You show them the future?" She can feel an odd beat in her head, a rthymic pulsing.

No, no, they still have to work that out for themselves. But some find life in what I can offer, sometimes better than what they had when they discovered me.
...It's just possible that she's coming around after all. Maybe. If so, it just goes to show why you work at the difficult ones.

Maggie finds herself bobbing her head in time to an unheard tune. "I get ya, I get ya. You show them the beat, ya?"

Essentially, yes. And they often need look no further.

Ah, the hard-won victories are so often sweeter than the easy converts.

"And the ones who can't see the beat..." Maggies hair is rearranging itself, pulling up into a pony tail on the very top of her head. And, from somewhere, she's gotten chewing gum in her mouth, chewing and a popping. "Some ones gotta Feed the muse, ya?"

Precisely. Often, all it takes is a bit of nudging. Or hearing my handiwork, of course.
if you listen, you can hear it
Well, this is a somewhat unexpected turn of events. It hadn't thought the girl would ever catch on. But she has.
it's the motion in the music
And the music certainly won't argue with that luck.

"I hear you, I hear you. Ya, ya, ya." Maggies eyes sparkle as she looks around the room, seeing things in a brand new way. People need inspiration. And if there's one thing Maggie has learned, it's how to inspire.
