Max automatically stiffens and ducks when he hears the first boom. Thankfully, he's outside, so he spots Fiona and runs over, wincing every time another explosion goes off.
"What the fuck do ya think you're doing?" He finally says, running a hand through his hair.
Martha blinks and then kind of just stares at the explosions.
"It's... not sure if amazing is quite the word I'd use. Impressive... definetly." She gives the woman a look. "You made sure it's not going to hurt anyone, I assume."
Jack, naturally, is around to see and hear the big shiny boom. He likes explodey things as much as the next guy, just as long as they're not directed at him, and he especially likes explodey things he had a hand in, so he certainly isn't going to miss this one.
He lets out a triumphant whoop at the first explosion, and as the smaller ones continue, he's still grinning brightly, bouncing a little on the balls of his feet. Oh, he likes this.
A humbler person would aver that it's not all thanks to him. Jack just grins, his arm going comfortably around Fiona's shoulders. "It really is. Thank you!" He pauses, and then adds with a teasing grin, "You didn't do so bad yourself."
"Mmm, I know. We make a good team, don't we?" Fiona grins up at him. Normally, she'd insist on getting a fair share of the credit, but well - it's Jack. Seeing that grin on his face makes other things seem less important, somehow.
And besides, the best parts did come from what he'd provided, so it all works out, in the end.

Martha's outside quick after she hears the noises and staring at the explosions, jumping, despite herself everytime a boom follows.
"What is... this?"
She might enjoy it more if she had any idea that it was planned and not some sort of attack.

We're sorry, Martha, we really are.
