Really, she gets as far as, "Are y..." and then she trails off, staring at the books in Faith's arms. Really, she's just noticing the top one, and that it looks old and important, a lot like most of Giles' books, and it's got the word Vampyre in the title. Her voice is completely flat when she asks, "Where did you get those?"

A scroll falls out of her pocket and nearly thwacks Buffy on the head. Not that she'd be very interested in vampires...the closest in her world is Orochimaru, and he's completely nuts. If the two girls want to spar though...

"...Faith? There's a person on the ceiling." She's not actually so much telling Faith this as asking her to confirm that she is, in fact, seeing what she thinks she is.

She smiles, and goes back to reading, but not before sitting. Upside down no less. as it doesn't bother her in the least it can be assumed she's been doing this defying gravity thing for years.
