There's a teenager sitting by himself at a table not too far away.

Close enough that someone could probably notice the gauze on his right forearm, or the fact that he looks like he's about to nod off over his pizza.

Those things are pretty easy to notice, yes.

Sirius pauses in flirting long enough to hit the kid with a surreptitious energy-giving spell. Yay magic.

Danny, for his part, is eyeing the gauze with some concern. Cop instincts.

Yay magic, indeed. He wouldn't have been that happy to get a nose full of tomato paste and cheese.

Instead he jerks back up right, shaking his head to clear it a little.

He also spots the guy staring at him.

Today, Danny has no NYPD badge, which is probably for the best.
