Chase is actually nervous. Well, he's more uncertain than anything, and he has one Lucy to blame. His head is reeling and he's a little more than fidgety (as he's gnawing the life out of a biro pen), but he figures his thoughts couldn't hurt.

Besides, he doesn't exactly completely look like he's got a myriad of things on his mind

Ben hops and skips down the stairs. It's odd to still be here in the Inn after so long, never having left, but they aren't about to go until Steve is... well, Ben doesn't like to think about that.

He does, however, like to think about the sexy Australian that just happens to be in the lobby.

"Hey there." Ben smiles at him and plops down on the couch, camera in his lap.

As his luck would have it, the photographer would show up just as his mind is in a flurry of reasoning and logic about all of this. He thinks he should listen to Lucy, go for it, yet... there's a part of him that thinks anything like that is foolish.

"Well, hello." Chase grins and notices the camera almost immediately, "Back to the pictures again, finally?" Well, isn't he quite the actor? Unless, of course, Ben can see through it.

"Yeah, can't keep away for too long." Ben says, quirking a grin at Chase and tilting his head to the side as he turns to face him on the couch.

He holds the camera up, prepared to take a picture when the look in Chase's eyes... something's... off. Ben knows him well enough to sense that.

"Everything all right?"

"That doesn't surprise me one bit." Chase smirks and gives a shake of his head.

When he sees the camera rise, he just rolls his eyes lightly. That boy and his camera would certainly never be parted completely. However, the hesitation made him look up again and raise a brow.

Of course Ben would notice. Chase is silent for a long moment, trying to find some answer to his question, one that wouldn't make him seem like a complete fool. He knows he needs to say something, not worry him, but...

Chase moves forward (is careful of the camera, of course) and kisses Ben hard, as if this alone will convey the thoughts he has swimming about in his head.
