Mark stalks into the Inn, fuming almost noticably. Under his breath, he's muttering something about people playing Christmas music before Christmas.

Not a happy filmmaker. He probably wouldn't want to know that he's trailing film on his shoe. Or that the back of his shirt is singed with chemicals, not to mention his hands.

He happens to have a friend in the Inn.

Well, several friends actually, but this friend is giving him a very amused once-over.

"Missed a fashion step, man."

"I what?" Mark looks up and blinks. "What'd I do now?" Yes, he's still mentally bitching. "Also, can you re-wire something in department stores to get rid of the godawful Christmas music?"

"It'd take me until next Christmas to get to all of them, then I'd have to start over. You can't afford me." Smirkity smirk. "Looks like you're wearing your work in here which--and you won't hear me say this often so take note--doesn't work well for you."

Mark looks behind him, and picks the film off of his shoe. "Oh, crap." He holds it up to the light and shrugs. "It wasn't important. It was just a shot of Quinn's wig falling off." Ah, the costume mishaps. "And of course I can afford you." Mark smirks. "I have an almost interminable bank account, remember?"

Regulus is mostly reading, but extraneous motion has a way of catching in one's peripheral vision.

"Oh, shit." Mark turns around, and picks the film bit off. "Um. Thanks."

"Not a problem. ...What is that?"
He's picked up the concept behind film, but not what the content goes on.

"'s film." Mark hands it over. On it is a shot of Quinn's wig falling off. "If you had a whole string of it and passed it by a light fast, you'd see things move. Each picture is almost inperceptably different than the one before it."
